Each book features Lewis Cole, an ex-Department of Defense research analyst who lives in semi-retirement in Tyler Beach, N.H., a resort community on the New Hampshire seacoast.

.....Lewis Cole is a solitary man with many secrets, who was forced to leave the Department of Defense under deadly and mysterious circumstances. He writes a monthly column for a magazine, but because of what happened to him in the DoD -- where he witnessed the deaths of several friends -- he has a thirst for justice.
